Please note our extended U.S. and Canada tables are included in the attachment. The EIA reported a +79 bcf injection for the week ending October 6, below our estimate of +86 bcf and the Bloomberg median at +88 bcf. Our regional breakdown also provided inaccurate results and we’ll focus on East and South Central today. In the East, our scrape model counted 12.6 bcf of gas going into storage during the reference week and provided a 21/22 bcf build estimate vs the EIA reported +14 bcf. Gi.....

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in Brent, gasoil, heating oil and WTI , but decreased in gasoline and natural gas during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas fell by -24.9k to +286.1k in futures and declined by -27.....

Baker Hughes shows 522 active rigs as of October 7, 2016, higher by +1 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +3 to 428 (ht: +6; vt-dir: -3), while gas-directed rigs decreased by -2 to 94 (ht: unch; vt-dir: -2). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +2 in Anadarko (TX), by +1 in Anadarko (OK), by +1 in Bakken (ND), by+1 in Permian (TX) and by +2 in Other, while decreasing by -1 in Permian (NM). Horizontal gas rigs increased by +1 in Barnett (TX), by +1 in Haynesville (LA), and by +1 in Marcell.....

The EIA reported a +80 bcf injection for the week ending September 29, above our estimate of +74 bcf and the Bloomberg median at +73 bcf. Out of the “big three” regions, our models got East right and underestimated Midwest and South Central injections. In the case of Midwest, population-weighted cooling degree days dropped sharply during the reference week – from a 7.02 on September 23, to 0.03 on September 29.
