Baker Hughes shows 1,767 active rigs as of February 7, 2014, lower by -13 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -6 to 1,416 (ht: +7; vt-dir: -13), while gas-directed rigs decreased by -7 to 351 (ht: -4; vt-dir: -3). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +5 to 170 in Permian (TX) and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -4 in the Bakken (ND) to 9, while horizontal gas-directed rigs increased by +2 to 25 in the Eagle Ford (TX).

EIA reported a -262 bcf withdrawal for the week ending January 31 (Bloomberg median -274 bcf, Bloomberg whisper: -276 bcf). The 25 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from -281 bcf to -253 bcf with a standard deviation of 7 bcf. Our model showed -279 bcf. Nationwide natural gas-weighted HDDs increased by +31 to 266, while nationwide electricity-weighted cooling degree days reported by NOAA remained at 0 CDDs. Propane: US propane inventories fell by -0.8m bbl to 30.8m bbl for the week ended January 31, 2014, which is -12.7m bbl below the five-year average. PADD 3 inventories fell by -5.2%, or -1.0m bbl, to 17.7m bbl. PADD 2 stocks were up by +8.8%, or +0.8m bbl, to 9.6m bbl, which is 6.1m bbl below the five-year average. In PADD 1, stocks fell by -18% or -461k bbl to stand at 2.2m bbl. Implied demand decreased -21% to 1.31 mb/d; imports increased by +35% to 159 kb/d and production increased .....

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline and heating oil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas, heating oil, Brent and WTI , but decreased in gasoline during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas increased by +49.7k to +455.6k in futures and rose by +58.5k to +586.0k in fu.....

Oil rigs increased by +6 to 1,422 (ht: +5; vt-dir: +1), while gas-directed rigs increased by +2 to 358 (ht: -2; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +2 to 44 in Anadarko (TX) and vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -4 in the Eagle Ford (TX) to 23, while horizontal gas-directed rigs increased by +2 to 23 in the Eagle Ford (TX).

The 23 estimates submitted to Bloomberg varied from -249 bcf to -220 bcf with a standard deviation of 7 bcf. Our model showed -228 bcf. Propane: US propane inventories fell by -3.6m bbl to 31.7m bbl for the week ended January 24, 2014, which is -14.8m bbl below the five-year average. PADD 3 inventories fell by -7.2%, or -1.4m bbl, to 18.6m bbl. PADD 2 stocks fell -14%, or -1.4m bbl, to 8.8m bbl, which is 8.3m bbl below the five-year average. In PADD 1, stocks fell by -19% or -595k bbl to stand at 2.6m bbl. Implied demand decreased -5% to 1.65 mb/d; imports fell by -49% to 118 kb/d and production was unchanged at 1.40 m.....
