Please find attached data and charts detailing U.S. gas imports and power demand for the week ended May 4, 2017. Total net imports for the reference week averaged 0.04 bcf/d, higher by +0.05 bcf/d week-on-week. During the same week last year, U.S. net imports averaged 2.86 bcf/d. Average natural gas demand in the power sector was 23.8 bcf/d, higher by +1.9 bcf/d week-over-week. During the reference week, the contiguous US observed 29 population weighted CDDs, up +12 week over week.

We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in natural gas , but decreased in Brent, gasoline, gasoil, heating oil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas rose by +4.2k to +445.1k in futures and increased by +4.6k to +.....

Baker Hughes shows 876 active rigs as of May 5, 2017, higher by +8 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +6 to 703 (ht: +6; vt-dir: unch), and gas-directed rigs increased by +2 to 173 (ht: -2; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +9 in Permian (TX) and by +4 in Other, while decreasing by -4 in Anadarko (OK), by -1 in Bakken (ND), by -1 in Eagle Ford (TX) and by -1 in Permian (NM). Horizontal gas rigs decreased by -1 in Marcellus ( SWPA ), by -1 in Marcellus (WV), by -1 in Woodfo.....

EIA NG STORAGE REPORT | May 04, 2017

The EIA reported a +67 bcf injection for the week ending April 27, +1 bcf above what our flow model had anticipated on Tuesday and +5 bcf above the Bloomberg median. On a whole our flow model was fairly accurate this week, however inter-regionally there was an overestimation in the Midwest which was offset by an underestimation in the South Central region. A sudden unexpected end of the week decline in deliveries from the South Central into the Midwest caused our regional balances to be off......

Total net imports for the reference week averaged 0.55 bcf/d, lower by -0.36 bcf/d week-on-week. During the same week last year, U.S. net imports averaged 2.27 bcf/d. Average natural gas demand in the power sector was 21.6 bcf/d, higher by +0.2 bcf/d week-over-week. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials decreased net length in Brent, gasoline, natural gas, gasoil, heating oil and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas grew by +2.0k to +440.9k in futures and decreased by -7.1k to +528.9k in future.....

Baker Hughes shows 868 active rigs as of April 28, 2017, higher by +13 from the previous week. Oil rigs increased by +9 to 697 (ht: +11; vt-dir -2), and gas-directed rigs increased by +4 to 171 (ht: +1; vt-dir: +3). Horizontal oil rigs increased by +5 in Eagle Ford (TX), by +4 in Permian (TX) and by +3 in Anadarko (OK), while decreasing by -1 in Permian (NM). Horizontal gas rigs increased by +1 in Haynesville (LA).
