Please find attached data and charts detailing U. S. gas imports and power demand for the week ended June 23, 2016. Total net imports for the reference week averaged 1.58 bcf/d, lower by -0.20 bcf/d week-on-week. During the same week last year, U.S. net imports averaged 2.51 bcf/d. Average natural gas demand in the power sector was 33.3 bcf/d, higher by +2.4 bcf/d week-over-week. Please find attached data and charts detailing the latest CFTC Commitments of Traders Report for the week ended June 21. We provide all Legacy and Disaggregated trader positions for natural gas, WTI , Brent, gasoline, heating oil and gasoil. Non-commercials increased net length in gasoline, natural gas, gasoil and heating oil , but decreased in Brent and WTI during the reference week. Non-commercials net length in natural gas increased by +16.9k to +132.9k in futures and rose by +22.7.....

Baker Hughes shows 420 active rigs as of June 24, 2016, lower by -3 from the previous week. Oil rigs decreased by -7 to 330 (ht: -1; vt-dir: -6), while gas-directed rigs increased by +4 to 90 (ht: unch; vt-dir: +4). Horizontal oil rigs decreased by -2 in Anadarko (OK), while increasing by +2 in Permian (TX). Vertical/directional oil rigs decreased by -4 in areas of LA not associated with any major play. Horizontal gas rigs increased by +2 in Haynesville (TX).

The EIA reported a +62 bcf injection for the week ending June 16, coming in line with our own number and the Bloomberg median at +60 bcf. Regionally, salt domes withdrew less than expected, but the non-salt build was smaller as well leading to a lower than expected overall injection for South Central.
